Select the nationality as it appears on your passport. This must match the nationality on the passport you're using for this application.

Your travel details

Planned arrival date, purpose of visit, and a UK address where you'll be staying (hotel, Airbnb, friend's place — whatever works).

  • Anyone with a valid UK visa or immigration status

These aren't strictly needed for the ETA itself, but having them handy can speed things up and make your whole trip smoother:

Passport (biometric page — the one with your photo)
Email confirmation of any hotel or accommodation booking
Return or onward flight details
Contact details of someone in the UK (if visiting friends/family)

Passport tip: Make sure your passport has at least 6 months of validity left. If it's close to expiring, renew it first — saves a massive headache later. We've seen travelers get denied at the gate for this. 🛂
